Coaching & leadership

There are times in a career

A new responsibility. A team to mobilize. An important decision to be made. A transformation to lead. A challenge that requires breaking out of our comfort zone. Or simply the need to take a step back to choose better the next step.
Coaching offers a privileged space to think, see things in a different way, and move forward.
At Cap compas, coaching is a partnership that allows you to clarify what really matters, to better understand what is at stake, to explore new perspectives, and to transform your awareness into concrete actions.

MONTE A BOARD
Integration coaching
Finding your bearings and succeeding in your first day on the job.
A new function represents a tremendous opportunity for development — and a defining period.
One must quickly understand their new environment, build trust-based relationships, decipher expectations, establish priorities, and find the right posture, often while already being expected to deliver results.
The program Get on board accompanies managers and leaders during the first 3 months of a new function, with exclusive access to the Plan 90 days platform, so that they can find their bearings and fully exercise their role.
This support can help you, in particular, to:
- clarify your role, your priorities and your objectives;
- quickly understand your new environment;
- identify key stakeholders and create alliances;
- establish your credibility and your leadership position;
- to mobilize a new team;
- avoid the reflex of wanting to change everything too quickly;
- develop your roadmap for the first few months;
- taking a step back from the challenges encountered during the integration process.
Getting on board means first observing, understanding, and creating the right alliances before choosing how to contribute to the trajectory.
The Cap compass approach
A coach who also knows the realities of management
Before becoming a coach, Julie spent more than 30 years in the heart of organizations and held management positions for more than 15 years. This experience allows her to understand the reality, complexity, and sometimes loneliness that accompany leadership roles.
In coaching, this experience nourishes her understanding of her clients’ world — without taking the reins in their place.
Her approach is based on listening, questioning, reflection, awareness-raising, and moving on to action. It creates a space that is both benevolent and stimulating, where it becomes possible to take a step back, question certain certainties, and explore new ways of acting.
Because the best solutions are not necessarily the ones that are given to you.
These are often the ones you bring to the surface and choose to implement.

Getting to know each other better to navigate better
The Nova Global profile
When it is relevant to the objectives of the accompaniment, the profile Nova Global Can be integrated into the coaching process.
This tool allows, among other things, to deepen self-knowledge, to better understand one’s behavioral preferences, motivations, and how to interact with others.
It can become a powerful starting point for reflecting on one's leadership, professional relationships, and the conditions that allow one to give one's best.
How does the accompaniment take place?
The sessions will take place virtually at a frequency that you and Julie determine; fairly quickly at first to get the ball rolling.
Getting to know each other: Exploratory meeting
A 30-minute free meeting allows you to get to know each other, discuss your situation and goals, and determine whether we want to work together.
The quality of the relationship is essential in coaching. This first conversation therefore allows you to verify if the flow is flowing — in both directions.
01
Defining the direction: Clarifying the objectives
At the beginning of the process, we jointly clarify the coaching objectives and the results you wish to achieve.
Where are you today? Where do you want to go? What would you like to see evolve?
These objectives become the guiding principle of the support.
02
Navigate: Explore, experiment, and take action
Through the course of the meetings, coaching invites you to take a step back, explore different perspectives, question certain ways of doing things, and identify the actions that will allow you to move forward.
Between sessions, you will experience in your professional reality the paths you have chosen.
Coaching thus becomes a space where reflection and action feed each other.
03
Taking stock: Measuring the progress made
Throughout the process, we take the time to observe the progress made and to adjust the course when necessary.
At the end of the support, an assessment allows to measure the progress made, recognize the learning achieved, and identify how to continue on this path independently.
A coaching approach generally takes several months to complete, depending on the goals and needs of each individual or team.

Testimonials
They chose Cap compas to accompany them
What Julie brings me most is that she sincerely believes in me and my ability to succeed. That's exactly what propels me forward.
Since I started coaching sessions with Julie, I literally feel like I have wings pushing me forward. In just a few weeks, I clarified my personal and professional goals for the upcoming year and explored new working techniques. A few months later, I achieved my first goal, submitting my master’s thesis. I gained so much confidence that I decided to start a project I had been putting off: continuing my studies for a doctorate! Thank you coach Julie!
